Plant a Sister Church
Our objective is to provide your church congregation with a detailed, step-by-step plan for planting a sister church within the 10/40 window. A stateside coordinator will collaborate with you to adopt a church planting team in training at Calvary Bible Institute Dumaguete in the Philippines. Your congregation will be able to observe the team’s development throughout two years of training, a one-year internship, and the subsequent establishment of a new church. We are committed to assisting your congregation in advancing the kingdom of God globally
STEP 1: VISION CASTING
Vision Casting: Begin by sharing the vision and biblical mandate for church planting with the congregation. Clearly communicate the strategic importance of reaching the 10/40 window and how planting a sister church aligns with the Great Commission.
Optional resources:
a) A stateside coordinator can come and share the vision with your congregation
b) We can supply a video or slideshow that you can show at your church to facilitate the vision for your church plant
c) We can supply flyers, posters, and brochures regarding your church plant
d) We can design a webpage specifically for your church plant
STEP 2: PRAYER AND DISCERNMENT
Lead the church in dedicated prayer for guidance, unity, and discernment regarding the planting of a sister church in the 10/40 window. Encourage the congregation to be praying for your adopted church planting team.
STEP 3: PARTNERSHIP FORMATION
Establish an ongoing relationship with your adopted church planting team. Ongoing communications can be established through emails, messaging platforms, and video conference calls. Your stateside coordinator will help you establish a connection with the staff at Calvary Bible Institute Dumaguete and your adopted church planting team.
STEP 4: RESOURCE MOBILIZATION
Coordinate fundraising activities and gather financial support for the church planting team. Invite members of the congregation to pray, make contributions, and pray over being part of a short-term missions team to Calvary Bible Institute Dumaguete in the Philippines.
STEP 5: CONTINUED ENGAGEMENT
Maintain active support for the newly established church by providing financial assistance, offering prayer, and scheduling periodic visits. Communicate regular updates to the congregation and acknowledge key achievements to cultivate collective purpose and unity. Sustained engagement will help build a strong foundation that enables the church to develop and achieve financial independence.
