Teaching God’s Word, Equipping for God’s Work
Our mission is to help local churches equip men and women for faithful ministry by teaching the Word of God and preparing them to fulfill the calling God has placed on their lives.
At CBI Dumaguete, we partner with local churches in discipling and equipping students who sense God’s call to ministry. We desire to help them grow spiritually, develop Christlike character, and gain practical ministry skills for missions, church planting, pastoral leadership, and church administration.
As the Apostle Paul instructed Timothy:
“And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others.” — 2 Timothy 2:2
This verse reflects the heart of our ministry. We are committed not only to teaching God’s Word faithfully but also to equipping every student to serve effectively and fulfill God’s purpose for their lives.
To accomplish this mission, CBI Dumaguete offers carefully designed programs that provide both biblical instruction and hands-on ministry training.
Diploma in Biblical Studies (One-Year Program)
The One-Year Program lays a strong biblical foundation while developing practical ministry skills and a heart for missions. Throughout the program, students learn how to study and interpret Scripture, understand essential Christian doctrines, cultivate spiritual maturity, and actively participate in ministry. Graduates leave equipped with the knowledge and experience needed for faithful Christian service.
Associate of Biblical Studies (Two-Year Program)
The Two-Year Program offers advanced theological education and intensive ministry preparation for those who sense God’s calling to pastoral ministry, church planting, and Christian leadership. Building upon the One-Year Program, students receive deeper biblical and theological training while gaining practical experience in ministry. Completion of the One-Year Program is required before admission to this program.
